The Men's AHF Cup takes place in Hong Kong China from 19 to 27 November 2016.

Eight teams are competing for one ticket to the 2017 Asia Cup, which in turn is a qualification tournament for the 2018 FIH World Cup. Favorites include current champions Bangladesh, Singapore and Sri Lanka, but upsets are on the cards and the coveted semi-final places will be fiercely contested.
